Carousel

The Carousel is a set for everyone who appreciates the iconic UGears style and attention to detail. This is a set that has it all but brought to an entirely new level of splendor.

The key rotating element of the Carousel consists of two parts: the base platform and the center pole. They both spin in opposite directions to create an illusion of a faster and life-like motion. Just like all the other UGears sets, the Carousel is powered by a rubber-band motor. Like many toy marry-go-rounds, this one is a wind-up model which means it has a key at its base that sets the main axle in motion. A planetary gear connects the main axle and the pole. Its goal is to make sure that the rotation is provided in the opposite of the base platform direction.

Another interesting feature of this set is that there are two rows of horses that go up and down as the Carousel spins around. Even more, movement is provided by the birds above the roof that are attached to the same poles that are moving the horses up and down. Traditionally, the base platform features an open exterior that provides a perfect view of the moving gears.

The Carousel is made from eco-friendly high-quality plywood with no additional materials or glue needed at any stage of the assembly process. Additionally, the set comes with an illustrated assembly manual in 11 languages that will turn the assembly into a fun adventure.
